Alligator on the loose

On September 6, 2016, an 850-pound alligator was on the loose in Orlando, Florida. The alligator, which was 10-feet long, was first spotted in a retention pond near an apartment complex.

Several witnesses called 911 to report the alligator. When police arrived, they found the alligator sunning itself on the bank of the pond.

The alligator was eventually captured by a trapper and relocated to a nearby wildlife preserve.

Alligator in the swimming pool

One hot summer day, an alligator sunned himself by the edge of a swamp. Suddenly, he had the feeling he was being watched. When he looked around, he saw a small rabbit gazing at him from the other side of the fence that separated them.

“Hi there,” said the alligator. “If you don’t mind my asking, what are you doing?”

“I’m trying to decide whether or not to jump in and swim with you,” replied the rabbit.

The alligator thought for a moment. “Well, I don’t think it would be a good idea,” he said at last. “You see, I’m quite a bit bigger than you are, and I’m afraid I would eat you.”

The rabbit thought about this for a moment. Then he said, “But if I swim with you, I can use my speed to outswim you if you try to eat me.”

Again, the alligator considered this. Finally, he said, “All right, why don’t we give it a try?”

So the rabbit jumped into the water and swam around with the alligator. After a while, the alligator began to get hungry and started after the rabbit. But just as he was about to catch him, the rabbit darted away and made it safely to land.

Alligator in the restaurant

One day, an alligator walks into a restaurant and orders a meal. The waiter goes to the kitchen to tell the chef, who is shocked.

“We can’t serve an alligator!” he says.

The waiter goes back to the alligator and explains the situation. The alligator is not happy.

“Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a restaurant that will serve me? I will sue you!”

The alligator hires a lawyer and sues the restaurant. In court, the judge rules in favor of the alligator.

“This is a victory for alligators everywhere,” the alligator says. “I hope this will open up more restaurants to us.”
